Cassia Treatment and my regular protective style

I used Cassia obovata last Friday to treat my hair. Cassia Obovata has the same conditoning properties as henna, but without the colouring properties, as my hair is already coloured, I use Cassia obovata, I mixed the cassia with hot water to make a smooth paste, then added olive oil, castor oil, aloe vera gel. I applied to my hair in sections and left it on for 2 hours, then I rinsed with conditioner, then put a moisturising conditioner, which I left on for the same amount of time. Then I rinsed out and styled. This style is very simple style, and very easy to do for me. I rinse my hair with my style in. If my hair gets fuzzy, it can be easy for me to replait or smooth down the edges.

Cassia does not stain, so I was able to apply it with my hands. Like henna, it thickens the hair strands. What I was very pleased, that on Friday 27th January, I coloured my roots and refreshed the ends, after using the Cassia obovata, I have noticed how my hair colour looks very vibrant.

Various hair styles

I have decided to use protective hair styles, to retain my ends, I am not one of those people who do twists, I find them too time consuming. also I rinse my hair with my plaits (braids) in and re-plait them, if they look untidy. Plus I have started to use my fingers to detangle and finger comb my hair.

I did my roots on Friday 27th January, I left the colour on my roots for 25minutes, then I refresh my ends for the last ten minutes, mixing more water and oil. Very pleased with how my colour had come out.

First of all, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you for following me, throughout the year. I wish everyone a very successful New Year.

In November 2011, I coloured my hair and I have not had any problems, such as my hair being very dry or brittle. Once you colour your hair, you have to step up with more moisturising and protein treatments. Towards the end of January, I will do my roots. I have found my colour, I really like. and I plan to use a semi-permanent to keep the red colour longer. Also I have started using this style. I find it more convenient than the Chinese bumps, as my hair is parted and I can apply my Castor oil mixture to my scalp and roots, plus I have started to get back to daily rinsing, or sometimes I spray my hair with Hawaiian Silky Miracle Worker, 14 in 1, despite it has mineral oil, it is very light and it seems and feels very moisturising, so I am pleased with the overall result of my hair.

I pour my rinse mixture, which is conditioner, aloe vera juice, water over my head, wearing a silk scarf, that keeps my hair from being fuzzy, plus I apply aloe vera gel to my edges and overall hair to keep it neat. I am able to keep my hair a lot longer.

Needed a change

I changed my hair colour. I felt it was time for a change. My hair is growing back after I have starting washing my hair with Revita hair shampoo, available from

I have noticed that my crown of my hair which was thinning is getting thicker. Anyway back to the colours, I used L'Oreal Majirel shade 7.43 and L'Oreal Majirouge 6.66 and I mixed with 40 vol developer, plus I added avocado oil, castor oil and extra virgin oil. I was happy with the colour, also I got John Frieda radiant red conditioner and Ion colour protect conditioner. My hair did feel a little dry, but as I spray my hair with Hawaiian Silky Miracle 14 in 1 and I rinsed daily, my hair was moist again, plus I am aware of the colour fading, particularly red colour, so hence I used John Frieda radiant red conditioner as a conditioning rinse. I shall see how my colour keeps during the weeks and months.

I have started using Revita stimulating hair shampoo and conditioner. I ordered it last Thursday before 3.30 p.m. and I received my package on Saturday morning, from http://www.looksfantastic.com. I was very pleased of the fact that there was no delivery charge.

A young lady who I follow on tumblr, http://beautybaked.tumblr.com and she mentioned that her hair really grown over the summer, she washed it twice weekly. I have my hair in a protective style, my Chinese bumps and I have washed my hair twice so far. I find that my hair is really clean, however after I put my Castor oil and Hawaiian silky 14 in 1, miracle worker, it is very moist, another product I use is Karen's beautiful body, Sweet Ambrosia and it feels moist for days.

Another thing, which I have been doing it, using a pre-conditioner over night, a herbal, which I infused in Castor oil, olive oil and grape seed oil. The herbs, I used in teaspoon of each were : horsetail, nettle, burdock, rosemary, hibiscus, Fo-ti (or fleece flower bark), the herbs and bark were infused for 30 minutes on a very low fire, then I added to a large bottle, one teaspoon of powdered sulphur, then when the herbs were slightly cool, then add it to the sulphur.

The herbal/sulphur oil was mixed with Mega tek rebuilder and I added it to my scalp, roots and hair and left it over night, then washed my hair with the Revita shampoo and conditioner. I pre-condition once a week.

I have noticed that the crown of my hair has been thinning and lately I have been suffering from a lot of stress, so I have to take some time out and have a look at my lifestyle. At the moment my father has come back from hospital in March and I have been looking after him. I have got no support from my aunts and cousin. All I have got was my aunt telling me off, in my own house. My father has not helped the situation at all.

This year has been very interesting and I have learnt lot about myself. I have always been grateful to people who are my friends and I have found I was always to work to be a friend and my friends have never worked towards me. Friendship is a two way relationship, and I realise that I deserve better.

You tube user http://youtube.com/user/ohvaleriecherie, has caused a revolution in the hair growing community by making her hairdrenaline portion, many people have been getting excellent results, especially on http://hairlista.com, they are doing the Hairdrenaline portion challenge. Tola on her blog http://mylonghairjournal.blogspot.com is also trying out the portion, and I have been very impressed with her results after two weeks, from her pictures, her hair is definitely longer.

Most of the ingredients I used are very similar to Valerie's however with a few variations.
I used 4 bottles of West Indian Castor oil, each bottle contained 150 ml in total 600 ml.
45 teaspoons of black Assam tea
1/2 bottle of cayenne pepper
30 Biotin capsules 5 mg each
4 drops of essential onion oil
2 drops of essential garlic oil
as I could not get garlic seed oil and onion seed oil
I used 25g of sulphur, thanks to Tola from http;//mylonghairjournal.blogspot.com
Added essential oils of Melissa, lavender and orange for scent.

I put the ingredients in a large dish and stirred them thoroughly, then I pre-heated my oven to gas mark 6, then I put the large dish with the ingredients and left in the oven for 5 hours at gas mark 4, then for the final half hour, put up the oven to gas mark 6. So for a total of 5 and a half hours, the ingredients were infused in the castor oil. After the time was up, I took out the dish and allowed it to cool.

Then I strained my mixture through a cheese cloth. muslin or knee highs, can be used. My portion was strained and put into my castor oil bottles, which originally contained castor oil. The mixture was a rich red at the beginning after the five hours of infusion, it was a dark brown. I originally started with 600 ml and the infused mixture, I ended up with 35o ml of portion. I added 4 drops of onion essential oil and 2 drops of onion essential oil and I added essential Melissa, orange and lavender for scent.

The instructions to get hyper growth, such as 3 inches or more in 7 weeks, people were getting an inch or nearly an inch in two weeks.
The onion seed oil and garlic seed oil are essential for the portion
Drink plenty of water
Eat an healthy diet
Taking suitable supplements or vitamins.
Massage your scalp daily, at least twice daily.
When adding the portion to your hair, massage in, then wrap your hair in sling film or plastic bag to get a greenhouse effect. Your hair follicles would be open. you could leave over night, or leave on for two or more hours.

As I was able to obtain onion seed oil and garlic seed oil, but able to use onion and garlic essential oils, plus I used sulphur powder. So I will be very keen to see the results. I will be updating after 30 days, however if there is significant growth, I will be updating sooner. Thanks to Valerie and Tola.

My Experience of the Jannu Hair and Facial steamer

Yesterday I used the Jannu Hair steamer, which is very similar to the Huetiful Hair steamer. As many ladies have already said, the hair steamer is very easy to assemble and it takes about five minutes to steam up and I sat under the steamer for 20 minutes or more. The top picture shows my hair after the steam treatment, what I would say that it is important the steamer is raised properly and you sit under it with your back straight in a good chair. I did experience the steam on my forehead, but I had a towel around me.

What I did notice was after my conditioning treatment, my hair was very soft, even after I left my hair for one hour without combing it, it was still very easy to detangle and comb. The whole experience was very pleasant. This is one investment, which is worth the money, and I am very pleased that I was able to purchase the hair, money will spent.

I have not done much writing, I have been very busy. I look after my father, he needs full time care, however I still believe despite my change in my life, it is important for me to look good.

Anyway, I am looking forward to trying out my hair steamer, from the reviews, most people said it is very good and their hair is very soft and moisturised. Also I'm on the quest of growing my hair longer. Also I have started using Jason Aloe vera shampoo and conditioner, which does not have no laureth sulfates, and it enriched with plant proteins and Vitamins A, C, and E. When I use the shampoo and conditioner, I shall write a review after several times of using Jason shampoo and conditioner.

Also I shall be doing a length check, possible every month or every 2 or 3 month. To my diet, I have added wheatgerm oil, Vitamin E and Pukka organic bio nutrients Vitalise, which contains broccoli sprouts, beetroot, blueberries and chlorella.

Happy New Year everyone. The year will be wonderful. Full of increased possibilities.
As the new year, I decided to try something new.
I am still continuing with my Premier creme rinse and Mega Tek. My hair is doing very well. Also I have decided to start taking Baldwins Biotin 5 mg, for ladies UK or otherwise, you can get biotin 5 mg anywhere. I have heard a lot of good things about 5 mg of Biotin and at Baldwins, you get 60 tablets for £7.95, which is good value for money, it can last me for two months.

Anyway, I take Evening primrose, 50 B-ccomplex, in the day time with a meal and take 5 mg of Biotin in the evening, or sometimes I take all my supplements in the evening.

What I have noticed is that my fingernails have a wonderful shine. It was pointed out to me by a man, when he was telling me about some hand cream, he asked me what I'm using on my nails, because they have a wonderful shine. I have not had any break outs at all. So I am very pleased with the biotin.

I decided to add some colours to my hair, I used L'Oreal Paris, Recital preferece Babylon Intense red, shade 6.66 and L'Oreal Excellence cream Light ash blonde, shade 9.1, I mixed the colour with a 40 volume developer, which I had bought. Using the highest developer will give my hair a higher lift, especially as it is so dark. Very pleased with the results, the colours came out very well. Eventually I will go to Sallys and get L'Oreal professional colours as the professional colour lasts a lot longer. However thumbs up for L'Oreal home colour, very good. The conditioners are excellent and I have not experienced any dryness. To keep the red colour from fading, I may try John Frieda auburn colour range or other colour treated shampoos and conditioners, there are several good ones on the market. At the moment I use a shampoo and conditioner for colour treated hair.

I did a brief length check, very pleased with my progress. My hair is on track!

I had my hair previously in flat twists for at least five days and I loosed it out very carefully making sure that I did not disturb the coils. I also keep up the henna treatment, which I do every three week.

I'm back with my beloved Mega Tek again. I liked using the Ovatian, and I still intend to get it. I still have some Ovatian Cell therapy left, so I am mixing it with the Ovatian, it is probably easier for me to get Mega Tek as the company is in England and once I order it, it takes me about 2-3 days to receive it.

What I did notice about Ovatian, it lengthens your hair, then thickens it, with the Mega Tek, it thickens your hair, before it lengthens it. I shall probably to a length check in the next couple of weeks or so.

My three month update

From the results of using Ovation hair products for three months, I am very pleased, I was able to retain my length and significant growth was seen in the back, and sides. Also the front also had little growth, but I would say not as much as the back and sides. My left side grew significantly.

My next length update will be done in three months time, during that time, I will be using Mega Tek and Ovation Cell therapy equal parts mixed together to apply on my scalp daily and to apply as a deep conditioner once week and I will leave it on overnight and apply the creme rinse.

Overall I am very pleased with the results, other things helped was massaging my scalp daily which I will continue. Also I am eating a lot of green vegetables, lettuce, spinach and kombu, which is a Japanese seaweed, red onions. Plus I now henna my hair once a month, which helps to add thickness and strenthen the very fine hairs that I have. I have used henna before in my previous post, however I was never consistent. I am due for my third henna treatment towards the end of this week.

These are the hair styles, I am using, which are very simple and very easy to do and also, I can rinse my hair without me loosening out my hair. I am not the one for elaborate hair styles or doing very small twists. I feel that I spend a lot of time on my hair with the deep conditioning and my hairstyles, usually take me under 45 minutes to do and they last me until my next wash, which I do every week. Sometimes, my hair does unravel, but it does not take long to re-do again.

Castor oil treatment for my eyes and eyebrows

I have been putting castor oil on my eyebrows and eyelashes, twice daily once in the morning and evening, before I go to bed. Castor oil helps to thicken eyebrows and eye lashes, it takes about 6-8 weeks before you see any difference, plus I want to have my eyebrows threaded, so I can have full eyebrows with a nice shape. I would finally able to have thicker and longer eyelashes, so I will be updating in July, as it would be 6-8 weeks.

What am I doing in the meanwhile for the results of the Ovation

Results of using Ovation Hair products for 15 days

I was curious to see how my hair was getting on using the Ovation Hair products. I have now been using the products for 15 days from the 18th March to 1st April 2010. With the Mega Tek hair rebuilder, you left on the product for 5 mins, on clean shampooed hair, you rinsed off, then you deep conditioned, also I applied Mega Tek mixture to my scalp and roots, daily.

However with the Ovation hair products, the cell therapy can be left on overnight, at least three times a week, and you can shampoo your hair and use the cream rinse daily. It is possible to use the cell therapy daily, by washing your hair with the colour therapy shampoo, apply the cell therapy, for 5 mins, then apply the cream rinse and rinse out.

How I applied the ovation hair products, is that I shampooed, then applied the cell therapy overnight, next morning applied the cream rinse and rinsed out. I also styled my hair with cream rinse, mixed with aloe vera gel and castor oil. I apply ovation cell therapy mixture with castor oil, aloe vera gel, to my roots and scalp daily. I found that my hair was extremely soft. When I loosened out my twists to wash my hair, I didn't really need to spray water much water on my hair to keep it moist. I have noticed growth in my hair. In the next 15 days, I should see significant growth. So far, I am very pleased with Ovation hair products

Using Ovation Hair products

I ordered Ovation Hair products on Thursday 11th March and it came the following Thursday 18th March at 1.00 p.m in the afternoon. Ovation cell therapy can be left on overnight and then the cream rinse over the cell therapy for a few minutes, then rinse out and style as normal, which I did.

So I used the products last Thursday, left it on overnight, and in the morning, I applied the cream rinse and I washed out my hair after a few minutes. I put my own conditioner for another few minutes, although it is not really necessary, I did not buy the shampoo, I only bought the cell therapy and cream rinse. My hair is already thick, because of the Mega Tek I am using. Ovation and Mega Tek are made by the same company. I use Mega Tek mixed with Ovation cell therapy mixture, with added MSM, suphur, olive oil, castor oil, glycerine, rosewater, Vitamin E and Evening Primrose, to apply only on my scalp and roots. Today, will be my second time of using the Ovation hair products.

In 30 days time, I shall update my pictures and as I am mainly using the Ovation hair products, I would like to compare it with the Mega Tek.

I am very pleased with my Mega Tek mixture, I have not experienced any shredding at all, I add a little garlic paste, plus peppermint and lavender essentials, also added castor oil, aloe vera gel, olive oil and a little sulphur oil, applying to my roots and scalp only on a daily basis.

I put my hair in flat twists, which lasts me for a week. I still continue to rinse my hair daily with a little conditioner added to water. If my hair starts to unravel and go fuzzy, I usually retwist my hair again.

I put my hair in flat twists and I rinsed daily, with a mixture of conditioner, glycerine, rosewater and water and I cover my hair with a stocking cap or scarf to prevent my hair from going frizzy. My mega tek mixture is applied to my parts daily.

I have been using Mega Tek on and off for the past few months, but I was able to get myself a large bottle, so I decided to add a little garlic paste into my mixture instead of taking garlic supplements, and I have experience no shredding at all, because the garlic has such a strong odour, I have added mint. lavender, eucalptus and clove oil. I do take supplements for my overall health, such as B vitamins, Biotin, Evening primrose oil, vitamin E, Royal Jelly and Flaxseed oil and Vitamin C. MSM I tend to use in my hair rinses and putting in my hair products.

November Hair and Mega Tek

I started to use Mega Tek again, to the Mega tek I have added garlic paste, castor oil, extra virgin olive oil, Ojon restorative leave-in treatment, Ojon restorative treatment, Ojon hydrating conditioner, 1000 mg Evening Primrose oil, 400 iu Vitamin E, to mask the smell, I have added essential oils, lavender and eucalyptus oil and the mixture was added to a bottle with a sprout, so that I could apply to my scalp twice daily.

I condition wash daily, also I do not take any garlic supplements, but I add garlic to my food. I have been eating more fish. I shall update my results with Mega Tek next month.

October Hair

I have not been using Mega Tek, since June, not because it is not a brilliant product. It is the best, but I have been very busy, especially with my house, my hair is in a very simple style, my stable, which is chinese bumps (inside bunti knots), daily conditioning washes.

I massage my scalp with aloe vera gel, castor oil and Ojon's intensive repair reparation intensive treatment and Ojon's restorative leave in treatment, which keeps it soft. I have been also taking B supplements, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Evening Primrose and Cod liver oil. Also I have been eatinag a lot of eggs, nuts, and dried fruit, drinking plenty of water, particularly at this time of year, where your skin can look very dull and sluggish.

I plan to start back on my Mega Tek/Ovation products, do henna, I haven't done, since May. I found the Ojon products fairly expensive but the smell is divine and it is very long lasting, particularly for my hair or afro textured hair, I think it is an excellent product.

I shall be definitely getting some more, also getting new products such Miss Jessies, Hair Rules, Philip Kingsley, Ojon and Anita Grants products, which I have read some excellent reviews.

Ten days after using Henna

It has been ten days since my henna treatment and I trimmed my hair before I did my henna treatment, my hair seems more glossy, because I added the temporary colour to the henna, my highlights don't have that brassy look. I will probably do another henna treatment and see how my hair is.

I was very pleased with the results of the henna, particularly mixing it this way, it washed out easily. After the deep conditioner, my hair was very soft and very easy to comb. Some people have experienced loosening of the curl patter, hence shrinkage is reduced, but that may come after many more application of henna. Also I will be trying the coconut cream natural relaxer, which is supposed to loosen the curl patern, I will probably do that one towards the end of the month.

My hair is highlighted and my parts of my grey hair have a rich reddish colour, plus I did add the shaders and toners hot cinammon. The dark parts of my hair is also has a rich vibrant colour.

Very pleased with my results.

Using Henna

I have tried henna in the past and I used it, because yes I am vain and I want big thick long hair, so thanks to Curly Nikki. She is available on http://curlynikki.com/. I used her method.
The henna, I got from my local Asian supermarket in Shepherd's bush Market. So with one packet of henna, I mixed warm nettle tea, 2 tablespoons of honey, one packet of toners and shaders, hot cinammon, 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. The henna was mixed until it was in a smooth paste, then I covered the henna and placed in the airing cupboard over night.

I conditioned washed my hair, then applied the henna for four and a half hours, washed and rinsed thoroughly with conditioner, then deep conditioned for 30-60 minutes, then rinsed with cider vinegar rinse.

Very pleased with how my hair came out. Curly Nikki, blog is very informative and she has lovely hair.

Products which I use

These products are my stables and the nice thing about them, is that I can get them locally, from where I live in Hammersmith, West London. The West Indian castor oil, Dabur Amla oil and Vatika enriched coconut oil, are available from either Shepherds Bush Market, where there are Asian shops. Glycerine, rosewater is available from any local supermarket in the cake making section, also available in most supermaket type shops as well as extra virgin olive oil. Aloe vera gel and aloe vera juice is available in any health shop.

I make up a daily rinse, with aloe vera juice, rosewater, glycerine and olive oil. I add a litte conditioner to an empty Evain or 50 ml water bottle, add a some aloe vera juice, rosewater, glycerine and a little bicarbonate of soda (if you live in a hard water area) shake thoroughly and then add water to fill the bottle completely shake again and pour over hair and wrap a towel around the head to soak up extra moisture, leave on for 15-20 minutes, then add remove towel and put little moisturiser on the roots and over a little over the hair.

To make a hair spray,put in a spray bottle, available for any beauty store or Sallys. To add the bottle, add the same ingredients, plus lavender essential oil as a preservative and spray on the hair, whenever the hair feels dry.

The castor oil, aloe vera juice, glycerine, rosewater, amla oil and enriched Vatika oil, I make into a hair moisturiser, in a small container, I add a little powdered MSM, and pour a little rosewater, and mix throughly. MSM standing for methylsulphonylmethane, also you can crush some biotin tablets, I add some vitamin E and Evening primrose, glycerine and rosewater. I put a large amount of castor oil, and aloe vera gel, mix throughly and now it can be applied to damp hair from root to ends and/or the roots daily.

The other Indian herbal powders such as Brahmi, amla, shikakai, kalpitone, I make up into a deep conditioner. I add 1-2 teaspoons of each, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, castor oil, aloe vera juice or gel, one beaten egg, coconut oil and tablespoon of conditioner. Mix into a smooth paste and I apply to my hair, sectioning it and paying special attention to my ends, then I cover with a plastic bag for 30 minutes to one hours. Then I wash it off using a conditioner, then style my hair with moisturiser.

The Indian herbals, such as Brahmi, amla, shikakai, kalpitone are available to larger Asian supermarkets, in areas such as West Ealing and Southall, in London, UK. Also you can order a really wide range on line, which is really good, because you can get Brahmi oil and many other hair oils.

Mega Tek is BRILLIANT. I LOVE MEGA TEK!!!. I have been using this product since August 2008 and it is fantastic. The first picture shows my hair after I used Mega Tek in January comparised to be using Mega Tek in April. Every time, I look at these pictures, I am so amazed.

I strongly believe Mega Tek was made in Heaven and it was transported to earth by angels and those ingredients are so secret, but they work. That is why I praise Jesus every night and I strongly believe he made them especially for me.

Mega Tek is my stables, plus aloe vera gel, and castor and it is so easy, just having my hair natural. I love my 4b hair, so it doesn't have defined curls, I can use Miss Jessie's to solve that problem, but as you can see I am extremely extremely happy.

Soon I will be trying Miss Jessie's hair products, which are available at http://www.missjessies.com/, several reviews about them, people are very happy, it is expensive, but it is worth it, when you get the results. THAT IS WHY I LOVE MEGA TEK!!!.

It is now 219 days since I have been using Mega Tek, and I am of course extremely pleased with the result of my hair, it is nice to know that I can finally say that I have long hair. Yes long hair. It has extreme shrinkage, which is very misleading. Your hair looks like it is shoulder length for ever, but once you stretch out your hair is clearly past your shoulders down your back, the comparison picture on the left, the picture was taken in January and compared to the picture on the right taken in March. More thickness and growth.

I have learned to appreciate my hair, which has a woolly, spongy texture. I put my hair in a very simple style, easy to comb and look after and also, it looks neat when I am going out. I am very pleased with my achievements.

January 2009

New month and new year, 2009 is going to be a great year and it has started off great for me already. Pleased to say that my progress is going very well indeed and my hair has increased in thickness, and in length. From the comparision from December 2008 to January 2009, one can see the thickness. In the next few months, I am looking forward to holding my hair in the back, without really stretching and my hair growing longer, than it has ever grown.

I will be starting juicing in a few days and I will see the different of my skin.

Seasonal Greetings and Happy New Year

Seasonal greetings to everyone and Happy New Year. November and December have been very busy months for me, I have been doing a lot of writing on my story, my desktop kept on freezing, so that I could not type as I wanted to and that was very annoying, so I was able to get a Dell Inspiron 6400 for the time being, which is not too bad. My laptop rarely freezes, the internet is a lot faster and I can go anywhere and type in the house. However, I will be buying myself laptops, so I will get you posted on which ones, I will be getting.

During the month of December, I was able to get myself a 'Leg magic' exercise machine, and although, I did use it regularly, it was only this Thursday, I took note of my weight, so in the coming weeks and months, I shall see how I am getting on with the machine.

I am still using the Mega Tek as normal and I am very pleased with the results so far, I am able to hold the back of my hair, which I have never been able to do so when I was a lot younger, as a little girl, and growing up, I never had long hair, so I am excited at the prospect of having hair longer than shoulder length.

I am very grateful to God and the ladies of http://www.longhaircareforum.com/ for this product and I am very pleased that I am no longer relaxing my hair. Oh what a nightmare it was. Being natural, I have lot of styling options and I also add highlights to my hair, I don't bother to do and overall colour anymore, particularly because of regrowth of the roots and highlights last so much longer and you can have different colours on your hair.

My hair routine is very simple, which is a daily rinse, which contains, conditioner, glycerine, and rose water and water.

I have started to add a very small amount of Mega Tek, just one drop, plus any conditioner, rosewater, glycerine and water, just over two months now. The conditioner, I use is any conditioner for coloured treated or permed hair, simply because they have much more richer ingredients. I also rarely use products for ethnic hair, except my stables, castor oil, aloe vera gel, also I add to the Mega Tek mixture, MSM (MethylSulphonylMethane), castor oil, Vitamin E, Evening Primrose, aloe vera gel and put in a colouring bottle and add to my roots and scalp only, massage thoroughly leave overnight and rinse in the morning.

Very pleased with the results so far and I have not changed my regime. I have been using it for 3 months now, looking forward to the next 30 days. I hope to be trying Ovation cell therapy as well.

There is a clear difference after 61 days of using Mega Tek, my hair is a lot thicker and there is significant growth.

Points to remember when using Mega Tek Rebuilder or Ovation Cell Therapy

1) Before applying Mega Tek to your scalp, apply castor oil first, then Mega Tek, because Mega Tek can be drying, or you add a little Castor oil to Mega Tek, whereas with Ovation cell therapy, it can be applied straight to the scalp.

2) With Mega Tek or Ovation, there is a possibility of increased shredding, this can be stopped by having garlic supplements or make a garlic conditioner.

3) Mega Tek or Ovation should be used for a month to see the real benefit. Ovation Cell therapy is more expensive than Mega Tek.

4) It has been said that Ovation causes the hair to grow very fast, then the hair starts to thicken up, however with Mega Tek, it causes the hair to get very thick, then the hair grows very fast also.

I hope to be using Ovation cell therapy and see the difference it makes to my hair. So far with the Mega Tek results, I am very pleased and happy about how my hair is right now.

From Hair to Now

I can't believe it is now six years since I have my hair natural. The first picture was taken in August and the picture bottom was taken in August 2002, after I cut off all my relaxer in February 2002, I went to a barber and he charged me £5.00 and I cut it again, so I had just washed it and also coloured it. It was a great journey, I had to learn so many different things. Now I have simplified my routine, I probably if I was honest with myself, my hair would have grown even longer, because I never really deep conditioned, and that was the key for me deep conditioning, which I started doing in January 2008 and I am now seeing the results.
